In the 1980s, Shihan Shiv K. Panchal has started Karate training under the Shihan Ram Singh Saini in India who trained under Shotokan Karate International Federation.

Shihan Shiv K. Panchal later joined ISKF under Master Teruyuki Okazaki and served as a Chief Instructor of India almost 20 years. He also trained in ISKF Instructor Trainee Programmee under the Shihan Yutaka Yaguchi, Shihan Frank Woon A Tai (Head of IKD), Shihan Larry Loreth, Shihan Cathy Cline, Shihan James Fields and other American –Japanse Intructors.
